I share my testimony of receiving my first miraculous healing in Jesus’ name. I pray this story blesses you and builds your faith to both receive a healing and also experience people be healed through your prayers. I pray you add many, many stories to your healing testimony!

In February 2023 I was dealing with some significant grief and a recent break up. I was exhausted mentally and physically and was battling a head cold that had developed from being so tired and worn down.

I was also about to attend a small group of people I didn’t know but who had big faith. My recent supernatural and miraculous experiences had built my faith, and also the reputation of their big faith led me to expect that I would be healed that night. I thought to myself on the drive over: if anyone can producing a healing through faith and prayer it’s definitely these folks. (See James 5:15.)

I attended, introduced myself and gave a brief testimony and how I was introduced into the group. The meeting proceeded and at the end there was time for prayer requests. I asked for prayer for my head cold and a handful of other prayer requests were taken.

As the leader began to pray for my head cold I could physically feel pressure began to release from my head. It was if something had unlocked and my sinuses immediately began to drain. After the leader stopped praying I then said with shock and amazement that my head cold was draining! The group was excited and the leader prayed again.

As I got in my vehicle and drove home I could continually feel a slow drainage of my sinuses over the next 30 minutes. Right as I pulled into my neighborhood it was if the drainage had stopped and I immediately I felt this pain in my left lymph node. There is a connection to illnesses and lymph nodes and I believe the pain was connected to a specific healing or cleansing of my lymph node at the conclusion of the healing.

Praise Jesus!

Receiving a miraculous healing was quizzical. One thing about a miraculous healing is that you have to look for it. There was no flashing sign, I didn’t fall into a trance and an angel didn’t come down to heaven to talk to me. A women prayed in Jesus’ name that I would be healed and in that instant the healing began to take place.

My advice to you is if someone prays healing over you active be searching for the healing taking place in your body. Do you feel something moving? Did any pain disappear or decrease immediately? You don’t know if you are healed if you don’t look for it.

I also want to emphasize the importance of faith and expectation. The woman with the issue of blood had an expectation and for healing, and she was! And so was I.

For she said, “If I touch even his garments, I will be made well.”

And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.”

Mark 5:34

Lord thank you thank you still heal! You healed yesterday, today and You will heal tomorrow. Give us the faith to heal and give us the faith to be healed! Make us bold in approaching the throne. Make us bold is our pursuit to heal. Send us out into the world and put people in our path who need healing. And let it be done in Jesus’ name! Amen.
